And the ultrasound says....

that we have 3 lines, meaning it's a GIRL!! I get to buy pink and bows, and make little bracelets to match outfits. Not that I wouldn't love to have a boy, but I am thrilled at the thought of a girl.

The tech said, "that she is pretty sure, but never says positive." Then she marked on the ultrasound that it is a girl. And then the doctor looked and said, "hmm I don't know, it's still early." I don't see it as being early, I am over the half way mark. And not that I believe in these things, but the Chinese gender chart says that it should be a boy. I have another ultrasound in 6 weeks, so I am trying to contain my excitement until the baby is bigger.

I don't want to end up like my cousins, who were sure that it was a girl. All ultrasounds and doctors said that it was a girl. Then four pink baby showers later, Liam, their son was born.

If it is a girl her name will be Jordan, which is my maiden and if it is a boy his name will be Preston Chambers. Chambers was my maternal grandmothers maiden name. So what do you girls think of our name choices?

wil jordan have a middle name?...wait a min. i mean congratulations! yeah you never know when they say girl if that's what they really mean. my brother and his wife had a baby girl who was born with a penis...THAT did not sound good at all. (supposed to be a girl but came out a boy) :)
can't wait for your noex ultrasound.

Congrats, on your news...Holy Cow, I love those names! I'll be totally honest, Preston is a name we are very strongly considering for our next boy, whenver that may be... if at all! (We can't come to an agreement for any others.) I think it is dang cute! I love boys and girls, they are both so different and it's fun to have one of each. (I am very glad that I got my little girl though, it's been so FUN!)

CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hadn't heard and I just got around to getting on the computer. We are crossing our fingers, toes, legs and arms that he was right and it's a girl. Until you find out for sure, for sure, RESIST taking those tags off and washing anything! KEEP the receipts and the bags they came in. Trust me, there is plenty of time to do laundry later. Your mom will be around to help you with that. Just wash what you want "her" to come home in and maybe a couple of white onsies. We are so excited for you and Mike. Enjoy the time because it goes by so fast!
