a booster and suction cup plate

After not posting anything about the little girl that takes up 99.9% of my time and energy, I thought that I would share this little happening...

We decided to get rid of the highchair and get a booster so she can be at the table with us. I carefully thought about this and that it might make life a little easier on all of us. So, I bought special plates that have the suction cup ring on the bottom. I actually thought that this would help keep it on the table.

The first morning I made her oatmeal, and I made it a little thicker so it would be easier for her to get it on the spoon. She was doing really well...

getting it in her mouth. I needed to use the restroom, so I left her for
maybe 60 seconds.

And this is what I found...literally 60 seconds later. Plate no longer suction cupped to the table, or to the suction cup for that matter. There was oatmeal was everywhere...

even in her hair that I had just done. I just had to laugh...and straight to the bath we went.

That so reminds me of my 2 year old. I love that she's naked too, I do that also, it makes clean up a little easier and saves clothes.

that is one cute mess though you have to admit that. those little people are pretty tricky. can't turn your back for a second.
