So, a couple weeks ago I went to Salt Lake, for my nieces blessing. It was so nice to get away...the only thing that would have made it better was if Mike had come along. He stayed home to work, since he had just gone to Wisconsin to baptize his niece. We seem to travel in different directions these days.
Anyway, I just wanted to share some pictures from that day. She is my first niece, from my side of the family. We have nieces and nephews from Mike's side of the family, but there is just something special about her belonging to my little brother...and him now being a dad.
Kennedy was 3 months old when she was blessed. She was sick and in the hospital for 10 days after being born, and then they couldn't take her anywhere for 2 months. But as you can see from the pictures, she is healthy and ever so chunky. She has the sweetest disposition and smiles all the time, oh I just love to squeeze her.
It was great to be there with so much family. My parents and little sister flew in from Dallas, and I have family that live there in Utah. I see my sister-in-laws family so much lately, they are starting to feel like family as well.
